Astrology and Genetic Make-Up

Astrology deals with Planetary influence on human beings. This is possible only if Planets influence the Genetic make-up of the individual. The genes which represent the characteristics of the Planets should be in tune with the Planets at the time of birth of an individual.

Our present scientific knowledge on both Astrology and Genes are still limited. Contemporary Science cannot explain Astrology. Also, Scientists have detected a huge amount of genetic sequences in the human genome, which do not make much sense. They are also termed as‘Junk Genes”. Is it possible that those genes are there representing Planetary influences? Nobody can tell currently.

Earlier, Michel Gauquelin’s work on Hereditary Effects have baffled even his Scientific critics. He pointed out similarities in horoscopes between Parents, Grand Parents and Children. Such similarities cannot arise without Planetary influence on the Genetic Make-up of the individual.

Hence, Astrology, per se, cannot predict all the aspects of an individual. While Planets have a major say in the prediction of characteristics and timing of events, variation in prediction aspects, for individuals born on the same day on the same time to different parents or same parents( in case of twins), arises largely due to difference in their respective Genetic make-ups.

Hence, there is no such thing as ‘Destiny’ or ‘Things are written’ or ‘Previous birth’s Karma’ and things like that. As an Astrologer, who has had exposure in this area for over 50 years, I can say with Conviction that individuals matter, their Genetic Make-Up matters and their environment also matters.

If Astrology can predict to the extent of 60%, the remaining 40% is decided by the Genetic Make-Up and environment. Hence, Astrological differences between individuals born at the same time to different parents, are possible, which include even in cases of Prince and the Pauper and Twins.

It is rather sad that Astrologers ignore these important factors, when they go to over claim their predictions, thereby bringing down the credibility of Astrology.
